Established

Suria Component Manufacturing (M) Sdn Bhd was incorporated and started the business as a small press metal stamping vendor (40T - 80T)

2001
1st Tier

Appointed as a Tier 1 supplier for Hicom Yamaha for a small engine part

2001

Installed 200T press machine. Produced metal stamping part for pedal as Tier 2

2005

Certified ISO 9001 Quality Management System

2006

Appointed as a Tier 1 vendor for ACM (Isuzu)

2010

Appointed as a Tier 1 vendor for Perodua and started development for Myvi Pedal Module

2011

Started supplying Pedal Module for Perodua Myvi and Alza

2013
Subang Kristal Factory

Moved to a new factory (Shah Alam) and received Excellent Cost Reduction Award  from Perodua

2014

Started supplying parts for Perodua Axia and Proton P2-30A model and received Enterprise 50 Award from SME Corp

2015

Started development BIW parts and pedal for Perodua Bezza

2016

Started mass production for Perodua Bezza parts and pedal module and received Best Overall QCD Performance Vendor Award from Perodua

2017
  • Received Excellent Cost Reduction Award from Perodua
  • Formed a joint venture with Namicoh Japan, creating Namicoh Suria Sdn Bhd (NSSB)
  • Started mass production for Perodua Myvi parts
  • Started the project for Perodua Aruz
2018

Started mass production for Perodua Aruz 

2019

Received Die Maintenance Competition Skill Contest Award from Perodua (1st Runner Up) and Jaguh Nasional Award from MED

2020

Project development and mass production for Perodua Ativa and project development for Perodua Alza

2021

Mass production for Perodua Alza

2022

Project Development for Perodua Axia and Toyota Vios

2023

Mass Production for Perodua Axia and Toyota Vios

2024
Pekan Subang Factory
  • Awarded Excellent Delivery Vendor 2023 from Perodua
  • Started developing parts for Perodua's first EV, QV-E
  • Commenced mass production at our new factory in Pekan Subang, Shah Alam
